2007 Year Endcap

So it's the last day of 2007.

Lots of things have happened this year.
  • Adobe Released the CS3 suite (which has kept all the certified instructors busy).
  • Been learning Actionscript 3.0. I actually understand the event system, which was like pulling teeth (and for no good reason... It's not that hard).
  • My strong-willed 2 year old daughter turned into a strong-willed 3 year old (and is 2 months from turning 4).
  • Allaina and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary.
  • We incorporated our design company, Freewheelin Design Inc. (someday we will return to working on our own website).
  • Did more client work than the previous two years combined. WhoooHooo! (or as Suzanne would say... Woot!)
  • Found out what's up with my nose (subject for a later post).
I'm sure there's much more, but how lame would I be if I just sat here on New Year's Eve and wrote a blog entry.

Am I a geek or what?

I think this is proof of my geekness . I have just finished entering all the books my wife and I own into Librarything.com. I'm amazed. We only have 536 books. I could have sworn we had more than that. (I'm missing a few I suspect are still in a box from when we last moved) We seem to run the full gamut of tastes; from programming books to graphic design, Christian spiritual to new age philosophy, and from romance to horror.

If you are interested in my list, you can see it at... http://www.librarything.com/catalog/forge451.

I plan to add a librarything widget to highlight my list in the next couple days. If you know me and want to borrow my books, you now know what we've got.
